The Stratodesk NoTouch OS release this month coincides with the release of the new VMware Horizon 2203 client, maintaining our commitment to provide day one support for new releases.
Some of the new Horizon features added include:
- Displayed Names for Real-Time Audio-Video Devices – In virtual desktop sessions, the Real-Time Audio-Video feature displays the actual names of redirected devices, but with (VDI) appended, for example, Logitech 920 Webcam (VDI).
- Disable USB Redirection for Specific Devices – You can now filter USB redirection by release number in addition to vendor and product IDs.
The ability to disable USB redirection for specific devices is something that has been built into Stratodesk NoTouch for a long time. Further information regarding this Stratodesk feature can be found in the following knowledge base article.

- Nutanix Frame: Update Frame client to 6.10.1

- Update DisplayLink driver to 5.5.0_59.151
Improvements
One of the main things users should notice this with this release is the improved speed at which applications & browsers launch. This is due to the way we have improved the OS image compression.
Teradici customers also see some improvements in this release. The support bundle is retrieved as part of the support file.
Fixed Issues:
- Imprivata: ProveID Embedded Virtual Channel fix
While technically not a fix, ProveID Embedded can now run without configured connection.

There are only a small number of improvements this month, which as usual include the synchronization of parameters with NoTouch OS.
Improvements:
- Update File Upload for compatibility with latest browsers
- Use better performing system-native SSH for CLX tunnel
