Stratodesk Employee Highlight – Rafal’s Favorite Things About Working at Stratodesk
When we asked him what some of his favorite things about working at Stratodesk are, he responded by saying:
“There are many things I like about Stratodesk. One of them is definitely the flexibility that we have at the workplace. It doesn’t really matter where the work gets done as long as we deliver a final product. We have our tasks and create our own schedules so that we can get things done when we are the most productive. While most of the time I work from the office, there are days when I just feel more productive working from home, and I am definitely grateful that this is possible.
“Nevertheless, the fact that we are a relatively small team yet we have such an impact on the VDI industry makes the experience of working here just as exciting. On the one hand, I believe the size of the company makes it possible for all of us to really know each other, and thereby create a team in which all of our members have a common goal in mind. Based on my experiences I can say without a doubt that none of us at Stratodesk is here just to get our work done and go home.
“We strive to be leaders in the VDI industry, and you can really feel that in the company’s culture. On the other hand, as a developer, I know that the projects I work on will have a direct impact on the product and customers. I’m not sure if I could get the same kind of satisfaction working at a huge corporation.”
What Does Rafal Do At Stratodesk?
Rafal is a software developer. Most of the time he works as a full-stack engineer devoloping and enhancing the features of Stratodesk’s endpoint management console, NoTouch Center. Additionally, Rafal is responsible for the graphical user interface of Stratodesk products.

- Rafal is originally from Poland.
- He studied Computer Science at Saint Leo University in Florida.
- He loves to run, and his best time is an impressive 1:06;50 PR in a Half Marathon.
- Rafal represented Poland in World and European championships in cross country and in mountain running.
- He lives in San Francisco, works from our headquarters office and loves it here.
- He is recently engaged.
